Retford to Shireoaks
The final day.
Set off at 8.15 to get to Worksop for lunch. Only managing 2.5mph still, but the plan allows for this. Found the 1hr error in the plan where it says it takes 6 hours for Retford to Worksop and we usually do it in less than 4.5.
We took the full 5 hours to get to Worksop. Went to the Mallard for lunch but they didn't have any rolls so we bought sandwiches on the way back to the boat.
Final two hours up to Shireoaks in the
hottest day for a week.
