Sunday 3rd July

Only had three hours to do today to get from Ellemere Port to Chester. So we had a lie in, especially as we didn't get back till well after midnight.

Also held up by having a look at the Cuddington next door to us. This is an old ICI boat that carried caustic from Anderton to Liverpool and Birkenhead.

Stopped at Stoak for lunch. The Bunbury Arms was a welcome surprise, 4 ales and a good menu. We just had a starter each.

On to Chester where we moored at Tower Wharf again. After a bit of sightseeing we met up again for a drink in the Harkers Arms, then went for a meal in Telfords Warehouse and finally back to Harkers for more beer.
